Several months ago Baby B's Mom-Mom gave him a "Farm Faces" book. On one page you hold it up to your face, say moo, moo, and you are a cow. On another page you hold it up to your face, say baa, baa, and you are a sheep. On the cover you say oink, oink and you are a pig.
This little cutie isn't just a farm animal though. He's worn many "faces" this weekend, including...
Farmer! "Put those drainage rocks right there Gramma. Once that's done we can add the soil."
(Good progress huh?! We'll see how helpful Farmer Baby B is when it comes time to actually plant my vegetables in a couple weeks:)
A serious big-boy-book (aka non-board book) reader! He really loves flipping through the pages now, much to Mommy's please-don't-rip-the-pages-of-the-library-book agony.
A sweeper! This 30 minutes long love affair with a broom on Saturday morning made me so happy, even the disappointed screaming that he let rip when we took the broom away to go inside. Maybe someday he'll realize that he can put that broom to good use, like cleaning up the many, many, many crumbs and peas and cheerios that he drops on the floor.
A super suave dance partner turned baby vampire! We were dancing around the kitchen tonight when all the sudden, chomp! I'm not sure where this compulsion to chew on Mommy's face has come from. But whatever - I choose Team Baby B over Team Edward or Team Jacob any day:)
But mostly my Baby B is still just a silly little boy, with a mouth full of two and a half crazy teeth. Only one more week of work until spring break when we get to share this ball of joy with friends and family again. We can't wait!!
